What is the Silver Start Program, you say?
This is a homeowner protection program offered by our Silvercrest facility that includes two walkthrough inspections with our knowledgeable factory technicians! First walkthrough is a Pre-Occupancy Inspection and lastly is the homeowner walk through.
By taking advantage of our Homeowner Protection Program, we will ensure that moving into your new home will be a pleasant and exciting experience - but most importantly worry free.
Pre-Occupancy Inspection
Your retailer will notify Silvercrest to begin the first step of our program once your home is blocked and leveled. Our own factory technician will perform the following inspections:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Gas
- Heating Components
- Interior / Exterior Doors
- Paint & Caulking Touch Ups
Any discrepancies with the installation will be noted and sent to the retailer or installer for corrections.
Homeowner Walk-Through
Once the pre-walk is complete, a homeowner walk-through will be scheduled which will instruct the customer on the following:
- Care of Components
- Cabinets & Countertops
- Operations of Heating & Cooling Appliances
- Operations of GFIs
- Smoke Detectors
- Installation of Ship Loose Towel Bar / Paper Holders
Immediately after the walk through, our technician will correct any deficiencies during the inspection. Items that cannot be corrected due to required parts that need to be ordered will be taken care of at a future scheduled appointment.
